Guild Policy
This is the section we try to avoid, but its use is inevitable. This is here to ensure that all guild members feel safe and secure and enjoy their time as members of the White Rabbit guild.
I. Reporting
If anyone feels they are being bothered in a serious sense by another player, they may alert an officer (listed above) or the guild master, Laroon directly. Methods of contact include but are not limited to private chat and mail. If you have out-of-game contacts for any of these people, feel free to use them as well. The issue will be dealt with accordingly. Usually the offending party will be consulted with directly, and if the problem persists, the offending party can be stripped of rank, and ultimately banned from the guild.
II. Offenses
Harassing of others will not be tolerated. As a guild, family, and group of fellow players, jesting will be part of daily banter. There is a difference between this jovial banter versus constant harassment. If this creates a problem, then reporting can be implemented. Harassment can be sexual, spamming, racial, sexist, or any other form as governed by the guild officials. Do not pester others for personal info of any kind. If they don't wish to give it out, leave them alone and don't ask anymore.
III. Governing Rulings
White Rabbit is NOT a dictatorship. The head council (the Master as well as the Officers) will all be treated as equals in discussing guild rulings. The only implementation that the Master has over the officers is then carrying out said ruling. All rulings will remain anonymous.
IV. Helping
We as a guild have already started this on our own, but it should be stated: Help when you can. Fellow guild members may need help with a quest, leveling, or need an item. Whatever the case may be, as long as it's not excessive, try to free yourself up. That being said, when asking for help, don't keep prying for help. People do have their own agendas.
V. Support the Guild
When interacting with non guild members, keep all conversations polite and suitable when appropriate. The members of White Rabbit represent the group as a whole, so it is necessary to show that White Rabbit is a guild of wonderful people. Everything is based in context, of course, but use your best judgement. We are aimed to treat the rest of the community with respect up front.
We hope that keeping these policies in tact will ensure a fun environment in which to play Iruna via the guild White Rabbit. Happy hunting!
Responsibilities
Master
I. Ensure order of the guild.
If and when complaints are made, strive to maintain the balance so the guild remains stable and together.
II. Directing
Direct and command, fairly. Keep all others' agendas in mind and never cause unneeded pressure.
III. Voting
Vote with the Officers on guild matters as they arise.
IV. Guild Policy
Follow the Guild Policy.
Officer
I. High Council Voting
Vote with the other guild Officers and guild Master on guild matters as they arise.
II. Keep Peace
Along with the Master, ensure peace is kept among guild members.
III. Alert the Master
Alert the master upon any conflicts that are significant. Alert promptly and privately as to not arouse commotion.
IV. Guild Policy
Follow the Guild Policy.
V. Guild Goals
Keep the guild goals in mind. They're a good foot forward into making White Rabbit the best guild on Iruna.
Veteran
I. Be the Core
As a Veteran, you represent the bulk of the Guild. You are expected to follow the Guild Policy, and get along with the others in guild. We're a family. And everyone should be able to work together. There will be difficulties, sure, but do your best to take the high road and report if any disputes don't end quickly.
II. Participate in Guild Chat
I know it's difficult to be social all the time for many people, but we in the guild chat are always looking forward to hearing from you. Talk about random topics, ask questions about the game (or philosophy; whatever). Just be a courteous and polite speaker and we'll love to have conversations with you!
III. Help Everyone Possibly
Help those around you - whether they're in guild or not. We're aiming to be a very positive guild, looking out for everyone.
Trainee (Member)
I. Become a Veteran
This should be a main goal - just get level 20 or higher, and complete Varuna's class change quest. Upon becoming a Mage or a Warrior, you will be given Veteran status.
II. Be Polite
While still in the training phase, you may be chocked full of questions. This is fine. Ask as many as you want, just be patient while waiting for replies. There's nothing worse than having low level players spamming the higher levels with requests and complaints when you are just starting out yourself. After all, everyone was level 1 once, and most of them had to figure it out on their own. It actually makes the game more fun anyway.
III. Help Out
Lend a helping hand to your community. As part of White Rabbit, you are expected to be helpful to the world of Iruna - both inside and outside of the guild.
IV. Guild Policy
Follow the Guild Policy.
All guild members are subject to this code. If they are caught unaware of the code, they will be directed to this page and instructed to read the code. They then have a 24 hour buffer period where they will then be subject to this code for guild life. If the code is broken to an extent deemed worthy by a guild Officer and/or the guild Master, then the violating member can suffer consequences up to and including banishment from White Rabbit.
